Board meetings: Sycamore Club house, 9:30, the second Monday of each month
Tam Ma, daughter of a 1979 Vietnamese boat person, will be the featured speaker at the joint Delta Kappa Gamma- Zeta Zeta-AAUW meeting on Tuesday, February 22 at Scott.s Seafood, 1333 N. California Blvd., Walnut Creek.

Today this young woman, a 2010-2011 AAUW Selected Professions Fellows recipient, is in her third year of law school at UC Berkeley and is a judicial extern for the Hon.Kimberly Mueller, Magistrate Judge of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California.

Ma was also featured in the Fall, 2010 issue of the California PERSPECTIVE, AAUW-CA.s newsletter. Prior to working for Judge Mueller, Ma was a policy consultant to State Senator Sheila Kuehl. Ma is upbeat, inspirational and motivated to work in social justice.

The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International is a professional honorary Society of women educators. Zeta Zeta is a California chapter of key women teachers who join with AAUW-Danville-Alamo-Walnut Creek branch on their Educational Fellowship programs. Please join us on Tuesday, February 22 at Scott.s Seafood Grill & Bar, 1333 N. California Blvd., Walnut Creek. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. Dinner is served at 6:30 p.m. Tam Ma will speak at 7 p.m.
